The SC-PFC range consists of capacitor banks with static contactors (thyristors) and reactance. These equipments allow compensation quickly and are very suitable for fast loads and / or dynamic (welding, engines, elevators, air conditioning, offices, etc.).

Furthermore, by incorporating reactors in series can compensate reactive power in networks with high harmonic content, where there is a risk of resonance, blocking the passage of harmonics to capacitor and removing risks of overcurrent and overvoltage by resonances. The connection and disconnection of capacitor banks is produced when the current crosses zero in each phase. In this way damaging spikes and transients for capacitors are avoided.

QUICK AND EASY COMMISSIONING


The SC-PFC series is mainly characterized by its easy installation, because the cabinets have been pre-configured and tested at the factory. Also feature a wide space for wiring connection and its design allows the possibility of input and output wiring on the sides, bottom and top to facilitate installation of equipment. Finally it should be noted that these devices are connected in series with the grid and incorporated inside of a busbar with three current transformers and a switch to facilitate the equipment installation and maintenance.

AUTOMATIC CONTROLLER


This controller is suitable for reactive power correction and the use of static contactors. It also offers the advantage of being able to add expansion modules to provide more services. The main features of the controller are its reliability, the ability to work in all conditions and the ability to detect critical operating conditions and all this to protect the system . Finally should be noted that has a dynamic control, which balances the use of banks and increase the capacitor life.
